wowfashionpolice:

Azshura & Scruffle, mods of WoWFashionPolice, have kindly asked that I take over the Fashion Find Friday segments for the time being, which I am more than happy to do.

Yep, I said it. Legendary. Now besides the common occurrence of spamming in trade, there’s not much to do with those from the past. But that might not always be the case. Ghostcrawler has hinted in several interviews and podcast that transmogging legendaries might become a reality.

So, with that in mind, I decided to make them this week’s Fashion Find Friday’s feature. (Please note that besides using most of my own characters’ models, I use the blood elf one for easy displaying, so no crying over that please).

Now I know some of you will be upset if this happens, saying things about how there will be Warglaives everywhere. Just keep in mind that while a few are not that hard to obtain, many take hours and hours of dedication and if I were one of those people who managed to finish them, I definitely would want to be able to show them off all the time.

Legendary items themselves are usually very detail-oriented, so its crucial that you do the same when creating a set to match. One idea is to think about the silhouette of the weapon or key elements and chose your pieces based off that, as I did in the Thunderfury and Dragonwrath designs.

They don’t have to complex sets either. Sometimes a more memorable mog is one that has more character than crazy stuff going on all over, which is what I tried to do with the Warglaive and Thori’dal sets. (A note for hunters: I included two wolf models to match the set, my personal choice for pets. If you can, try to match your pet, and even companion pets, to your transmog, it will make it look that much better).

The main thing is to create a set that compliments the legendary itself but still allows the weapon to be the focus.

The complete list of every set shown are below (you might have to open the image up in its own tab for full visibility).
