Ignore the UI, but here’s Patch 5.0.5 on a Macbook 2008. The important part is up in the top bar – 187F. That’s about 15 degrees cooler than it was running under 5.0.4. Also, the massive flickering is gone.
It’s not great – FPS is still low, but it’s always low – but it might be usable again.
