So I’m in Isle of Conquest tonight, right? And I have the shiny new Warlock glyph that lets your Felsteed and Dreadsteed run across water while leaving a trail of fire, which is like the coolest thing ever.
I figure, hey, let me hit the Refinery, maybe I can get some nice hot PvP action in there if someone’s defending it, and if not I’ll get the cap and go recap Docks. So I take off across the oil-slicked pools that litter the western side of the map.
I pass by this bird. It’s totally black, like it’s slicked in oil. It’s not just shadowed, it’s an oil-covered bird, I think. I snap the shot and then realize something.
This battleground is realistic enough to put oil-covered wildlife in the middle of it. There’s obviously oil leaking into this water. Oil. On water.
On the same water where I happen to be riding a demon horse with flaming hooves and leaving a fiery trail.
I demand bigger explosions.
