The Warlock Is For Burning: The Story of Waypoint
We joke often that we’re not an RP guild – and playing on Medivh, a PVE server in the US, we’re not on an RP server, either.
But, what we are, is a collective of highly creative folks being creative in a place with other creative folks where ideas can be bounced around…Okay so now I gotta re reblog:
Zable managed to join the guild by chance. Ingame, the guild house is the vacant two-story near The Shady Lady bar. Perfect place for Zable to drink, and, well, be shady. Per the name, he figures maybe even be shady with ladies.
Bumbling into the guild hall drunk on a thimble of rotgut, he loudly declares the paintings are ugly but the women there are all lovely. He probably falls asleep in a corner not long after, drooling on some of the maps that needed proofing.
He is hardly subtle, and definitely fits in more as a soldier than a cartographer. When he is not occupying his mind with thoughts (which does not happen, this thinking business), he will draw blueprints, maps, schematics on tablecloths and napkins that he’s used as coasters.
Sometimes I am not the only one who wonders why Waypoint keeps him around.
Because if you’re going to have an office by the Shady Lady, a rogue like Zable is exactly the kind of person you want around to handle odd jobs.
